Biography

The club was formed by a small group of ex-Hazlehead Academy pupils and group of friends. The club was created in order to establish a local amateur football team for the local community.

Marc took the initiative back in 2006 to start up Hazlehead United AFC. From lively and enthusiastic discussions with all the founding members. Marc took on the task of investigating the possibility of forming the club and gaining entry to the Aberdeenshire Amateur Football Association (AAFA).

It took a lot of hard work, planning, and effort however in June 2006, Hazlehead United AFC was granted acceptance into the AAFA.

Having stayed true to their philosophy, the club remain committed to their roots and therefore operates out of Hazlehead Academy. The club has a strong committee, support, and squad which is compiled of a range of 19-30 year old recent graduates and oil and gas professionals.
