Season 2009 - 2010

2009-2010 season was a very up and down year for 'Forest' which ended in a poor league position in division3 of the Redditch and South Warks sunday league. A league campaign which started off badly with some poor performances in games that should of resulted in 3 points for 'the forest' but ended up with them going home empty handed. As the season progressed Henley finally started to show what they could do as a team and in the middle part of the season hit some good form in the league and carried that over into the cups.
Finishing one off the bottom did not fully show what a very battling, hard working season it was for the team. Inconsistent performances and poor squad turnout along the way did not help.

However the season did end on a more positive note with some good, gritty performances and an unlucky defeat in the Bromsgrove Charity Minor cup final 3-1 to Chaddesley Corbett with Henley the better team for a large part of the game but in the end 'Chadds' experience shone through.

The league season finally came to an end with 2 league games against the division champions Translift in which Henley gave a good account of themselves.
