A hard thought game not only against the current top of the league but the elements as well.
Strong winds blew across the pitch but neither this nor the big effort by Darfield could stop the lads from giving their mothers an extra present on mothers day.
An early strike from the hard working Danny Coates put us on the right track, Darfield struck back but only confusion over a disallowed goal stopped us from having an half time lead.
Adam Davis finished off some good pressue with an excellent shot into the top corner but credit to Darfield who equalised again following a long ball move from goalkeeper to forward.
Richard Jepson then took control of the ball in a crowded area and drove a low shot into the corner of the net, to put us back in front.
