History

2008

Hertfordshire Harriers is re-born with a change in the heirachy. Lee Stiles remains as Chairman, but Lewis Moneypenny was brought to the club as his chosen Manager of Football.

The club decide a new look is in order to remove the '2004 Blues'. The revival starts with changing the home colours to yellow and black and branching out from 5-a-side Sunday Evening football to 11-a-side Sunday League football.

A new era begins for the Harriers....

The team encountered a rather turbulent debut campaign in Sunday League football, and had bad result after bad result. The team has fought hard to play, gel and scrape results together, but fixtures against Dome Bar Rangers, Watford Irish Centre Reserves, Carefree Athletic and AFC Rookery were all games that should've been won by the Harriers XI. Had these points been claimed, I'm sure we'd have gone on to have a more successful season.

Lessons have been learned, and the new players now have a seasons experience under their belts, and the hard work for an improved 2009/2010 campaign starts now.

Hertfordshire Harriers FC started out wearing sky and navy blue coloured strips playing in the 5-a-side Leisure Leagues in North Watford. They folded due to lack of commitment after finishing 8th in their first season.
