The Spitfires continued their unbeaten run with a 5-0 win over bottom side East Riding. Despite dominating possession and spending the majority of the first period in the home sides half, a host of chances went begging. Sporting finally found the net through Harry with a header in the very late minutes of the half.
Hessle showed a lot more composure in the 2nd half and while the game continued in the same manner as the 1st the lads managed to convert more of the chances they made. Danny finished well to make it 2-0 and a cross come shot beat the impressive E.Riding keeper for the 3rd. Oli Raper poked home the Spitfires 4th before Danny got his 2nd and Hessle's 5th.
No doubt the boys are capable of better then they showed today but we certainly shouldn't be too critical of a team that, for the time being at least, sit in 2nd position in a pretty competative league.
