The Spitfires maintained thier 100% record in the league with a 7-1 win away at Elloughton Blackburn. Albie opened the scoring early and Jordan made it 2 not long after but Sporting struggled on a poor pitch to play thier usual standard of football and as a consequence didn't trouble the scorers again in the 1st Half.
Reggie made it 3 -0 shortly after the break and Albie Scored his 2nd to make it 5. James got the 6th with a nice finish before the home side got 1 back from the penalty spot. A well taken header gave Reggie his 2nd and Cameron scored at the far post to make it 7 for the visitors.
The state of the pitch certainly didn't help the Spitfires today but the lads really didn't help themselves either with too many players trying to do to much as individuals and not playing as a team. The lads will certainly have to show a little more thought than they did today in some of the more difficult fixtures ahead but a wins a win and to remain unbeaten to date the lads deserve some praise.
