Hotshots have just scooped their 3rd League title on the trot, by winning the Tamworth U10 North Division, with a game to spare. The team celebrated by soaking each other with the water bottles dragging Manager Andy to the ground and piling on!!!
In the season 06-07 They have won the North division League title
They have also won the Tamworth Cup after beating Atherstone Rangers Magpies in the final.Claiming a double after some fine footwork from Jamie taking on 3 players and sliding a inch perfect ball to Rory to finish with a superb volley into the back of the net.
Higham Hotshots won the West Division of the Tamworth Junior League in their first season of competitive football. 05-06 unbeaten.
Also in this season they won The Whitestone tournament and the Nuneaton Boro tournament.
They train hard and work hard on the pitch.
Should kids in the Under 11 age group continue to play small sided football (as in Scotland & Wales) or should they make the step up to 11-a-side (as in England)?
