As you will be aware Celtic have got a new badge to celebrate their 21st season. It has been created to represent the club, the town and the sport. The green and white represent the famous Glasgow Celtic football club that shares our name and the colours that we try to play in, and for many seasons did. The football represents the sport of football, and the Celtic emblem represents Hindley (Hind) in which Hindley is derived from in anglo saxon times. The year 1987 is the year that Hindley Celtic was formed, in the Bridgewater Arms on Liverpool Road, Hindley. So if anyone out there just thought that the new club badge was just put together, well there is a story behind it.
Celtic have also now announced a new sponsor in the form of fastnfuriousautos, a car sales company run by Glen Mullan and Jeff Snape, check out their web site on the sponsors page or the useful links page.
