Hisron entertained league league leaders Chatteris in their first match after the half term break and put in a good performance losing 4 - 2.

The home side made a storming side with the Histon starting front three of Lilly Spencer . Natalie Munden and Chloe Kigira dominating play and took a deserved lead with a surperb chip / shot from Natalie which flew into the top left hand corner of the Chatteris goal.

This seemed to spur Chatteris into action and they soon equalised, and really for the next twenty five minutes Histon were under pressure. Ella Mathieson in the Histon goal looked assured in the Histon goal but really had no chance with the Chateris goals and Histon had problems in dealing with the forging runs from the Chatteris midfield,

Abigail Ray and Hannah Crook showed impressive form winning balls and not afraid to make runs with the ball. Hannah won the player of the match award for her great work in midfield.

With ten minutes to go Chatteris were four one up which could have worse but for some good interceptions from Adele Butcher in the second half. To Histon-s credit the team rallied in the last quater of the match with Ellie Hewitt making some good runs from defence, and Hannah Dyson making an exciting break. Histon scored a deserved second goal through Natalie.

Lauren Mccory made an encouraging league debut for the Histon side and slotted well into the midfield. Annabel Harvery and Dairan Malone also contributed to an overall good team perfomance against a Chatteris side who have been together for a good time and who play well as a team.
