We have been running since October 2005 during our first year we trained inexperienced people to play football. til we had a team able to compete in competitions and in the league.
First we took this team to Clacton on sea for a seven a side tournement against teams from across the uk, where we competed in two cups but we were knocked out in the quarter finals
We joined the Birmingham County Womens Football League part of Central Warwickshire Girls Football League in July 2006, the season started in September through to May 2007 we unfortunatley gained no points in this year , however we did battle it out in the open cup and managed to reach the final where unfortunately we lost against a higher division team marston green.
Some of our team left to make a new team to see if they could go it alone without clive's help we still wish them every success during the up and coming seasons
We attended Clacton 2007 where we got to the semi final where we lost on penalties
We started season 2007-2008 with more new players in this season we won three games but we unfortunately came last as the team at the bottom of the table folded in march causing us to lose points and goal difference hence why we came last
Clacton this year was different as we took players from a mixture of team to see if any of them would work well with our team we were knocked out in the knock out round no worries next year we are going all out to win. just come back from clacton having lost in the semi final on penalties no win this year.
our third season has been great with a fantastic team with some experienced and in experienced players ,a real mixture ,we have just completed our third season finishing 5th in the table on 15 points.
we have been promoted to premier division with six others from division one we are looking forward to a very competitive season against a real mixture of teams.
