The 2010/2011 campaign gave the boys the opportunity to put the disappointment of the previous season’s relegation behind them, and end 7-a-side football on a high.

A solid start to the league campaign had Tigers leading the table for much of the first part of the season. Tigers then enjoyed a cup run that included a victory over the eventual league champions and a semi-final defeat to the eventual cup winners!

Having proved that they can be a force against anyone the expectations were high for the second part of the season, but wins against the top half teams were offset by losses against the bottom half! Victory against the division winners in the penultimate match gave everybody a lift and ensured Tigers finished with a firm position in the top half.

Post-season, a late strike robbed Tigers of a tournament win at Canvey Island but an unprecedented fourth year success at the Tigers Tournament keeps the trophy cabinet happy!

Next season the boys will move on to 11-a-side football and a new adventure begins!!
