HSM ended their last ever game under the Horwcih St Marys name with a crushing defeat against promoted Haydock Thistle. In truth HSM put in a very disappointing display, especially after they took a 8th minute lead through John Mercer. After that there was very little to shout about from a HSM point of view, with Haydock fully deserving the three points.
