Last night was the league AGM where Eddos got presented with a trophy for finishing top scorer in Division 2. It was a pretty uneventful night although FC Boroughs (who Ang, Laner and Bails have agreed to join) were accepted into the league. After a chat with Jake Pegler who is running them I can assure anyone else thinking of leaving that they will be absolute toilet!! We are trying to arrange a friendly with them so will keep you posted.

Corsham Centre B had withdrawn from Division 4 after winning promotion and then were applying to re-enter under a different name but this P****D a load of people off so they were turned down! Chin Up. Also a team who won every game in the Frome Sunday League Premier Division last season were accepted which means a mammoth trek and a thrashing on a Sunday morning for all the Division 4 clubs next year. Good luck getting a side for that one Peg! Lets hope we don't draw them away in the cup.

The only other point of note was that in an outrageous development Jif was given most Man of the Match awards by the other teams. Unfortunately we can't appeal against this decision.

We now just have to wait for the league to finalise the constitution of the leagues for next year so we know which division we will be playing in.

In other news Naish has decided to step down after 3 years as secretary so we will be looking for a replacement. Anyone interested let me know as I am currently down to do it. And don't all rush at once........
