Chatteris Summer Tournament Sat 26^th May 2012

 Hot and Sunny

We entered 2 teams ‘Stripeys’ and the ‘Green Army’.  The first game for saw Hungate v Hungate and the Stripeys won. Stripeys were very hard to break down and did not lose a game in the League; finishing 2^nd on 9 points.

The Greens Army, who were more an attacking team, won three, drew one and then finished 1^st  on 10 points.

Overall both teams were the strongest teams in the tournament, both playing to their strengths and performed extremely well.

In the Semi-final both teams had to beat teams that they had earlier drawn against in the League.

First up was Green Army against The Woottons, which the Greens won. Next the Stripeys were against Chatteris Orange, another good game with Stripeys winning.

The Final ended pretty much as it started with Hungate v Hungate. Again, both teams played well and worked hard. This was not as close as the first game with Green Army winning this time. This was the one and only game the Stripeys lost all day.  

All-in-all it was an outstanding day for Hungate u15 girls.  WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!
