Report

A disappointing performance from Hurricanes saw them slump to a 7-0 defeat. In a first half which was described as the worst performance of the season so far the hurricanes conceded 4 goals. Lack of discipline in holding positions made the hurricanes defence easy pickings although there was some poor defending involved whilst also a lot of credit must go to the pumas attackers as several goals were immense finishes leaving the goalie with no chance.

The second half seen a much improved performance which saw both Tom Ryan and Wade Mellor test the opposition as well as the constant treat of Sean Brown however failure to make chances pay did come back to hurt the Hurricanes. Manager Luke Shillcock decided to open the game up with more attackers in order to find his side a goal whilst this created chances the goal never came and allowed the pumas to outnumber the hurricanes defence on several occasions to add up 3 more.

Summary: A step back by the side with a disappointing first half despite a massive improvement in the second half it was a disappointing performance. However the side do need to remember that the improvement overall in the side despite this set back is huge! And now need to learn from their mistakes and move on!

Man of the match:

Wade Mellor

Stand out performance showing the rest of the side how it should be done. Wade has certainly been more involved over recent weeks and today shown Great Spirit and fight throughout whilst playing some good football.

Team Points:

Pros: Second half improvements.
Cons: Lack of discipline positional wise.

Performance Rating:

5/10
