Ilford Colts FC has been running for 10 years, formerly known as Waltham Forest Colts, then Funsters FC. We changed our name to Ilford Colts 5 years ago when joining forces with Ilford FC as their junior club.

We have teams from U8 (year 3) to U16 (year 11). At our club all the coaches are FA qualified. All have a minimum Level 2 and some have Level 3.

Our main aim is to provide football for children and create an environment where the children will enjoy their football and develop. We have 3 coaches at the club who themselves started playing for club at U8.

Our main club training night is on Fridays; however some teams also train on other evenings. We train at Ashton Playing Fields, Chigwell Rd, Woodford Bridge at the following times:

4.15 – 5.30pm U8, U9, U10, U11
5.30 -6.45pm U12, U13, U14
6.45 – 8.00pm U14, U16

Up to U11 our teams play in the ELE where the games are played at Wanstead Flats. Teams U12 and above play in the Echo, Cheshunt or Eastern Junior Alliance Leagues.

We have an open policy for prospective players and they are welcome to come along and train.
