Mayo League Division 2A
The Club played its first game on March 21st 2004 away to Ballyheane B, The game ended 1-1 with David Gallagher scoring the clubs first goal. During our debut season we had some very big wins on our way to winning the Mayo League Division 2A title. The titile went down to the last day of the season when we played Castlebar Celtic C who if they defeated us would be League champions. We managed to win the game 2-1 thanks to goals from Pat McAndrew and David Gallagher to claim our first piece of silverware.
We then went on to have a very successful run in the F.A.I. Junior Cup when we got as far as Round 4 where we came up against the newly crowned Super League Champions Westport United. We were very unlucky to lose the game 1-0 after extra time with Westport's goal coming in the final minute after we had dominated most of the game. Overall it was probably for the best as Westport wen on to win the Junior Cup looking back on the game against us as being won of the toughest in their remarkable cup triumph.
