Neil is a versatile player who has played in many different positions for the Irons. Due to family commitments he only plays in an emergency - usually covering for one of our players should they be serving a suspension. But when he does play he gives 110%, flying into challenges and often picks up bookings himself as a result.

The remarkable thing about Neil is that as it can often be over 6 months or so between his matches, his appearance can change dramatically and it is often hard to recognise him. He can lose weight quicker than Posh Spice yet put it all back on again quicker than Bernard Manning. His hairstyle and colour can also change as drastically, making appear much younger or older than he actually is. This season he was brought in for a few games whilst Murray was suspended and the youthful slim version of Neil notched 3 goals in 3 games.
