Today we were back in Leicestershire for another tough tournament.First up today were Alexaton and although we dominated the game and made enough chances to win Alexton took their one and only chance to seal victory.The Eagles carried on playing good football and raced to good victories against Dynamo Black 3-1 and AFC Dronfield 4-0 further victories over Dynamo Gold 3-0 and another 3-1 victory over Dynamo Black eassed us into our second successive final and this time we were up against Leicestershire champs Groby.We were well under the cosh in the first half and it took at least four outstanding saves from stand in keeper Ashmead to keep us in the game,the second half was a more even affair but on the day Groby were just too strong for us and scored two good goals to win the final.ANOTHER GREAT SHOW FROM THE EAGLES TODAY AND AN EXTRA MENTION FOR ASHMEAD WHO TOOK ONE FOR THE TEAM TODAY BY STAYING IN GOAL FOR MOST OF THE DAY.Goal scorers Honour 5 Turner 3 Mcilvaney 2 Holmes 2 Adeyiemi 1.
