Once again the Under 10's defied the odds to gain a final place in the Redbridge tournament. Two brilliant wins against Premiership team Redbridge and a draw against Div 1 team Byron Redstar. 3 goals from Sach and a goal a piece from Cootes and Aitchison. But in fairness the whole squad played well but Bacon in defence deserves a special mention. Losing in the final is hard but the 5 taking the penalties were brave enough to take them and the keeper managed to make a brilliant save to thwart us. Overall the lads had a great day behaved impecably and played with great desire and spirit.
Once again well done boys.
Well done to all boys for a fantastic achievement on winning the UPR tournament on Sunday. Not only were you outstanding on the field but a credit to Jays with your behaviour and attitude throughout the whole day.
