The core of this group started to play together at a Saturday morning soccer school at the ages of 5 or 6.

Josh, Evan, Nathan, Ben and Lewis progressed well and were included in the Nomads u9 squad for the 2006/07 season.

Despite their age they all made a contribution in a competitive team, becoming key players.

Nathan won a Managers player of the year award, Lewis most improved player, and Evan finished with Players Player of the year as well as being the u9s top goalscorer.

These five played another under 9 season in 07/08, being joined by new players of varying experience.
Amongst them, A team captain James, keeper Charlie, the skilful Hamza, Tom, Dan, Joe, Shaun, Issa, Shak and classmates Morgan and Alex.

We started playing friendlies as a group in February 2007 which was the start of an excellent few months building up team spirit and understanding.

The 07/08 season was a superb one on the pitch. The first half of the season saw us winning more friends than games with our open style of play and sporting attitude. In the second half of the season the squad really flourished and won the majority of the matches played.

Summer 2008 has seen us mark our arrival at Juno by playing some sparkling football and making more new friends along the way!

We went into the under 10 season in 2008/09 with great optimism which proved to be well justified.

On the field the squad was boosted considerably by Josh Ca - an experienced forward with great pace. A quick and positionally aware defender Aaron, and the highly promising and committed Alex H.

The teams coached by Jim, and Colin proved to be too very difficult opponents for their rivals. The A team only lost 3 games all season in atough group, while our B team coaced by Colin racked up an impressive 14 victories in 20 matches.

We finished the season by merging the A and B teams for a series of 13 eleven a side friendlies which yielded 7 victories as we work towards the step up to the full game in September 2009.
