Nailbiting stuff. Wardens needed to win to finish league runners up. They started off well when Sam Ballard gave them a 1-0 half time lead. However, Warwick Juniors put themselves in front with two headed goals from corners. With 5 minutes left, it looked like Warwick were celebrating finishing runners up. However, a fine individual goal from Rob Fayolle levelled the scores. Then in the last minutes, a great run by Sam Ballard found Cem Yildiz in the box, who coolly slotted the ball home to send the Wardens players and supporters into raptures. They held on in injury time to clinch victory and runners up spot in the league. Player of the week went to Ben Douglas who had an outstanding game. Praise must also be given to a very unlucky, but very supporting, Warwick Juniors team.
