Following several meetings, Kettering Town FC has entered into a partnership with Kettering Town Ladies and Girls FC. They have donated 7 new kits to the Ladies and Girls, 2 for the senior teams and 5 for the youth teams. Members of the Under 14 team were on hand to collect the kit and say a personal thank you to Kettering Town. On-going relationships are being built and the CEO of KTFC, Tony Turburville, has given his full backing to this partnership.
Ladies and Girls Chairman, Greg Hyams, at the meeting today with Publicity Officer Anna Wilson and 1st Team Manger Jason Horsley later praised the efforts put in by the Ladies and Girls committee also adding that he was delighted with the closer relationships with the Main Club."The Ladies and Girls have seen an unprecedented level of success this year culminating in a feature on ITV Sport. The partnership with the Main Club is the reward for a superb season and a lot of hard work."
First Team Manager, Jason Horsley said "I’m delightful to hear that the partnership is going to get stronger, all teams with the Kettering Town name coming together to achieve greater things, not only in football terms but in the wider community. It’s a fantastic time to be part of and associated to the Kettering name. I hope it’s a strong and successful partnership for many years that will build foundations to get both senior ladies and senior men’s teams up the football ladder, where the poppies badge belongs!"
Kettering Town Ladies & Girls Football Club is looking to expand their management/coaching resource across the club and have opportunities within most age groups.
In particular, we are looking for a manager for our senior Amazons team who currently play in the Northants County League and in 2006/2007 were League champions. The 2007/2008 season saw the team without a permanent manager due to the manager moving to the first team.
We are therefore looking for a management team that can inspire a team full of potential back to the top. If you think that you are up to this challenge and want to join Kettering Town, please call Greg Hyams on 01604 781802 or Sarah Weller on 07766 523292, or contact us through our website www.ketteringtownladiesgirlsfc.co.uk.
