Kettering Town Ladies & Girls Football Club is looking to expand their management/coaching resource across the club and have opportunities within most age groups.

In particular, we are looking for a manager for our senior Amazons team who currently play in the Northants County League and in 2006/2007 were League champions. The 2007/2008 season saw the team without a permanent manager due to the manager moving to the first team.

We are therefore looking for a management team that can inspire a team full of potential back to the top. If you think that you are up to this challenge and want to join Kettering Town, please call Greg Hyams on 01604 781802 or Sarah Weller on 07766 523292, or contact us through our website www.ketteringtownladiesgirlsfc.co.uk.

Kettering Town Ladies & Girls, a Charter Standard Development Football Club, have junior teams for players between the ages of 9 and 16 playing in the Weetabix Kettering and District Youth Football League and the Mid Shires League, plus two ladies teams, one playing in the Eastern Region Womens League and the other in the Northants County League.

In August 2006, a third pitch was developed at our home ground at Montagu Community Sports Centre to accomodate all our teams. The Under 10's and 11's play on a dedicated 7-a-side mini soccer pitch, the Under 13's on a junior 11-a-side pitch and the Under 14's, 15's and Senior teams on the main pitch.

DO YOU WANT TO PLAY FOOTBALL?

We are always looking for new members, and currently have openings for players in all our teams, both Seniors and Youth. If you are interested, then come along to one of our training sessions where you can either join in or simply watch. Contact Greg on 01604 781802 for more details.

DO YOU WANT TO COACH?

We also have openings for budding coaches. If you think you could turn a team into a winning team or take them all the way to a Cup Final then contact us.

GIRLS FOOTBALL?

Did you know that Football is the top female sport and the lastest figures show that 140,000 players are registered to play in clubs and affiliated in leagues nationwide with numbers increasing daily. Research has shown that more than 1.5 million girls under the age of 15 play some form of football each year.
