From Wasps to Lions

After leaving Kidderminster Lions to form Wribbenhall Wasps FC U13's Steve Harley and Dave Crisp spent three years building a squad. The emphasis was on mates first, football second. Due to the collapse of the Stourport & District league and also the disbandment of Wribbenhall Wasps FC (after twenty six years in the local league), Steve and Dave took their Under 16's back to Kidderminster Lions.

Lions U16's had a memorable season 2009/10 winning the double, Mercian league Div 2 and also the Reg Box League Cup in an unforgettable match against Newtown at Malvern Town FC
