Formal pre-season training will start on 14th June 2012.
June to end of Sept it will take place at Dowty Sports ground. Meet 6.15pm for prompt start at 6.30pm.
4th October to 20th December 2012 and 3rd January to 28th February 2013 it will move to Brockworth Sports Centre meet 8.15pm for prompt 8.30pm start.
The training night will be Thursdays.
Following a lengthy discussion at the AGM, the players have asked that team manager take into account, when considering selection and substitues, those players who are attending training and those who are not.
If any player has a good reason why they cannot make training e.g. Work, Home or 5 a side then they must let their managers know so that these factors can be taken into account.
Paul Wanford has been retained to do the fitness training and following an AGM decision, he will continue to do sessions during the season every other week to ensure that players maintain their fitness throughout the season. This may be extended depending on our performance.
Attendance at training is a significant requirement for nomination of the Jubilee trophy for "Club Player of the Year".

1 & 2 Any player who is out through injury or unavailable for selection for a period of time (4 - 6 weeks) will be reimbursed at the end of the season on a felt fair basis).
3 & 4 These fees DO NOT include a number in the monthly Membership Lottery Draw. You are welcome to be included and you just need to add £2.50 to your monthly SO. It also doesn't cover your invitation to the annual dinner and presentation evening, if you want this benefit then add a further £2 to you monthly standing order.
Setting up standing order:
It is the responsibility of each player to ensure that their standing orders are set up with their banks.
A standing order is different from a direct debit, so you need to specify the amount and when it is paid.
Please make sure that the bank is told to pay the standing order, "until further notice".
Please use YOUR NAME as a reference for the SO so that the treasurer can keep an accurate track of payments.
Arrears:
Any player falling into arrears for any reason will be required to pay these in full.
Under Cheltenham League Rules, any player who owes money to a club, will be prevented from registering with another club until the arrears have been repaid. A list of names is circulated to all clubs.
If your situation changes during the season eg. if you become unemployed or alternatively find a job, please ask your bank to ammend your standing order and then ring the treasurer and let her know.
In the event that you have a finacial crisis, please speak to Georgina and we can work out an arrangement for you.
All queries about fees and rebates should be discussed with the treasurer, Georgina Powell, Home 01684 773140 (evening) or 07786166417 (Mon-Frid 8am - 4pm Text only please) or email

This year we have managed to keep the membership fee the same as last 3 years. Any surplus will go towards helping to get our own club ground.
The finacial position of the club has now improved, but if players want to improve our circumstances, we need to attract outside money to boost the coffers.
If each player could recruit at least 3 friends, relatives into the monthly lottery scheme it would help significantly!!!
