For our 1st season in competitive football we were placed in division 3 in the Epsom & Ewell League and following some promising perfromances in pre season games we entered the season full of confidence. However the season didn't pan out as well as I hoped and was mainly a very frustrating experience with so many good perfromances but not the results to match but there were lots of highs along the way and the boys will all have benefitted from this first season
The team was formed in 2009 and was made up of 3 boys who had played for our under 8 team the previous season and the rest were signed following the club's trials in May.
The first season we played non competitive matches and the results were fairly mixed but the boys had the opportunity to play in a variety of positions and most importantly enjoyed thermselves
