We are a Charter Standard Community Club and have boys teams at most age groups from U7s to U17s playing in the Huddersfield Junior Football League. We also have a strong girls only section with 3 teams playing at U14, U12 and U11 in the West Riding Girls League.
Other than our Under 16's, who play on Gregory Fields, we play at Kirkburton Middle School where we have excellent playing surfaces as well as changing rooms and an all weather training pitch facility.
All our age groups play in blue.
Match Day Catering
A catering service will generally be available every match day. Coffees, teas, bacon and sausage sandwiches and soft drinks are all available for reasonable prices from the kitchen in the changing rooms. Follow the signs!
Our teams for Season 2008/09-----
U17-A new age group for Kirkburton this year-the full squad from last years Flockton U16's have moved over to join the club.
U16-After going undefeated and convincingly winning the 3rd Division last time round things will be far more difficult this year as the league decided to bypass division 2 and allocate a place in division 1.
U14A-After a hard campaign last season at the wrong end of the table this group retain their place in division 2.
U14B-New team formed this season due to the excess numbers in last seasons U13's.
U13A-Another promoted age group from last years campaign-this group move up to division 2.
U13B-Remain practically the same as last year and hope to build on a successful season when considering the team were vastly made up of U11's.
U11-1st time round at 11 aside and an allocated place in division 2 will be a tricky start.
U10-Much the same as last season-A and B teams in leagues that almost mirror last years U9 groups.
U9-A move up to 7 aside for this age group who will hope to build on their triumphs at 5 aside--2 teams entered with half a dozen new faces.
U8-A new manager/coach takes charge of this group for the 1st time-enough for 3 teams but only 2 officially entered.
U7-1st campaign optimism-3 teams entered and "chomping at the bit".
U14 Girls-Last seasons Double winners at 7 aside have made the step up to 11 aside but will find things far more competitive in division 1 against sides who went 11 aside last season.
U12 Girls-Remain in division 1-Hope to kick on from last seasons campaign-moved to 9 aside. The loss of the leagues top goalkeeper should be offset by the arrival of a seasoned goalscorer.
U11 Girls-Another age group who did exceptionally well in their 1st season-should move on as squad has been strengthened close season.
ALL THE BEST FOR ALL AGE GROUPS AND LETS HOPE WE CAN ADD MORE SILVERWARE TO OUR TROPHY CABINET THIS SEASON.
