Report

This was our last game of the season against a very good Bare Rangers team. We werent helped as players were unavailable and others didn't turn up. We were punished for a slow start as Bare took an early 1-0 lead. After this we started to play very well, the defence was holding firm and if they did get through Brandon was there to save on many occasions.


However Bare scored another two goals rather quickly making it 3-0, this was when we started to play our best football over the last few weeks. The midfield were finding each other and when the ball was played forward we looked very threatening.


This was capitalised on brilliantly by a great strike by Jack. We continued to push trying to get back into the game but it wasn't to be as we lost 3-1. This however was a very pleasing performance despite the score.


Now the season is over we would like to thank you all for the efoort and commitment shown by players and parents alike. Training is now on Thursdays 6-8pm at giant axe and on Sundays 11am-3pm at giant axe.

Thank you to those who have stuck by us through the difficult times earlier in the season when many players left. We are delighted by the commitment that has been shown and look forward to seeing how a summer of very hard work will pay off
