REDCAR & CLEVELAND POLICE FC

Redcar & Cleveland Police FC play in the Emergency Services Football League which covers the North East region of the country. The team has changed it's name following a change in district name. Prior to the change the team was successful as Langbaurgh Police FC.

The 2007/08 season saw the team retain the Meredith Trophy with a 3-2 victory against Frankland. After a poor start to the season Langbaurgh finished the season in 3rd position in the league, one point behind local rivals Hartlepool and 2 points behind the eventual winners Newcastle.

A few new faces are needed in the squad for the forthcoming 2008/09 season.
