Warmest day of the season by far and we had just 11 players today. So a win was a must today so we could finish no lower than joint top with Solihull who's goal difference is far superior than ours, all though they do have to win there last game!!!!!!!! COME ON HIGHAM!!!!
Leamington had most of the possession in the first 10mins with midfield controlling the play, it soon became evident that Linda's pace was going to be a key part of the game. Midfield were winning most Ariel balls and looked to "feed the Lions" forwards at every opportunity. Lions took the lead on 12mins as Linda lifted the ball over the defender and advancing keeper 1-0 and soon added to the lead with a well stuck shot across the goal and into the net. 2-0. Leamington looked well in control but still had to defend well to stop Erdington from getting near Zoe in goal.

Again Leamington looked like they wanted this game more than Erdington and with Lauren, Harriette, Bex and Chants bossing the midfield you just knew more goals would come. Ellis scored from close range 3-0 then hit one from outside the area 4-0 then Linda rounded it off with her 3rd goal of the game 5-0.

Gemma, Jess, Stacey and Kayleigh the backbone of the team today (and the season) made sure that Erdington were reduced to long range shots, helping Zoe to keep her 5th clean sheet of the season and make sure that we conceded the least amount of goals in the league this season (12)
Harriette and Chants with there tireless engines through out the game from area to area never giving up, Ellis with her twisting runs at goal always a threat, Bex with her vision to pull off pin point passes to our forwards, Lauren running at players not afraid to take them on and unleash a shot and Linda our striker who's finishing is top class (seasons top scorer 9 goals in 4 games) is always a joy to watch.
Great team performance today Ladies, lets take it into the semi final in 2 weeks time.
