Slow hunt for the Sharks

The Mens team started the national league with a 2 straight defeats. With the youngest team in the league and playing off only nine players Leeds provided an entertaining game against Hucknall narrowly losing 11-7.

Only two teams won both their matches. Sutton & Cheam edged home 5-4 in a tightly-fought derby match against Polytechnic thanks to a late goal by Stephen Bayles.

Coach Wilson was unhappy with the results but 80% happy with the perofmance and is looking to bed in for the future. Top scorer for the weekend was Lewis young.
