ABOUT THE TEAM

Leedstown FC was founded in 2005. There were a few core players and committee members that came from a previous club to form our own. Bill Reid, our first coach came up with the idea. We then took Terry Myatt on board and The Lions and Tigers were born, these were both 7 a side teams. Eventually these two teams formed what is now the U14's team. Late 2007 saw us form a new team The Tigers (U10's), and our numbers grew quickly and we formed The Leopards (U9's). The club is growing from strength to strength, and has now formed a fourth and fifth team - The Lions (U8's) and The Panther (U7's).
Our core value is that we put the children in our club first. Its not about winning although its a bonus if we do. Every child that wants to play football is allowed to play no matter their ability, its all about opportunity. Leedstown FC is not a Win At All Costs club, just a nice friendly well run place for children to enjoy and express themselves. The Leedstown Leopards are our Under 9's team. They consist of 8 year olds. Their home matches are played at Leedstown Primary School, and will play league football in the Kernow League. This is their first competitive season.
Good luck Leopards !
