Biography
|
Once a no nonsense centre back, Dave gave up a sparkling refereeing career to come back into management. He took the regins firstly as the Second team manager at the start of season 04/05, building a team that finished second from bottom the season before to finishing third in Dave`s first season.
The following season saw Dave promote to First team manager and guided his team to cup success by scooping the Gilcryst cup, also finishing high in the manchester premier league.
Season 06/07 has seen another solid league showing, a county cup semi final and progression to the Gilgryst cup semi final.
Dave`s enthusiasm towards the football club is huge and this season as Chairman of Leigh Athletic FC everyone is sure he`ll do a good job.
