The club was founded by Mr Ian Stevenson and His wife Norma and several others,over the years the LYC have travelled all over the world playing festivals,Tournaments etc,several players have gone onto to the senior game and even today some play in the SPL,Premiership and Champions league,The club has won numerous Trophys and awards including 3 Scottish Cups,The club are part of the SYFA and in 2010 cebrated their 30th year anniversary with a Quality Mark award from the SFA.
