Lewisham Borough (Community) Club was formed in March 2003 to create a senior club, there were three intermediate Clubs within the Borough. The three Intermediate Clubs were:-
Moonshot AFC
Ten Em Bee
AFC Lewisham who were formerly Elms FC
The inaugural season in 2003/04 the Club won the Division One West Championship.
The club was able to build on the two previous season's successes which culminated in the Club claiming the Premier Division title in 2005/06. Senior status was also acheived in October 2006 and renewed in 2009 for a further three years.
Season's 2006/07, 2007/08 and 2008/09, 2009/10 again saw creditable mid table finishes.
The Club are determined and committed in further developing this Senior club which represents the people of Lewisham. They developed a youth academy in 2010/11 who will compete in the Southern Youth League and Kent Youth League.
The Club are still looking to progress further and hope to acheive the requirements needed to join the Kent Football League and Ryman League.
