1. I was not actually there but according to reports I have heard they (Lewisham Borough) are a very good flamboyant side who if they stay together will be a force to be reckoned with. Past LBFC teams since they won the league (2005 I think) have been very inconsistent so you are never really sure who/what team will turn up. They have a tall striker (Brown I think) that is a handfull. Apparently we were the better side in the second half and mistakes aside could have even nicked it.

One thing I will say is that there is not a better Club in the league for the friendly nature of the Chief Executive, Manager and Commitee. Whenever you arrive at their ground the Chief Executive will be waiting and shake everyones hand and wish them well. A fanatstic ethos that alot of Clubs, Kent League included (as we found out last year in the KST) could learn alot from and emulate.

2. Can only echo Blair's comments. We played LBFC three times last season and they were the friendliest bunch of any club we met. As you say the Chief Executive, Committee and tea ladies -superb. Well worth a visit.

3. This is why we (Herne Bay FC) as a club are happy to play Borough every season in a pre-season friendly at our place. They are genuingly a very nice club and can play a bit as well this year trust me (1-1)

4. Can I echo blair and Baz's comments here........Lewisham Borough are a lovely club, seriously well run, a credit to the league.
