Lewisham Youth have been together a a number of years now, with most starting their footballing career playing in the mini soccer format under the management of Bill Inwood. Unfortunately Bill could not continue managing the team in 2008/09. This is when coach at the time Chris Roberts then started managing the team.

Going into under 11 meant playing 11 a side which meant additional players had to be signed. With a successful summer and with a number of friendlies, the team have managed to sign a full squad of 16 to compete in the Bexley A League.
