Tigers completed a very successful second season's campaign, finishing as the valiant League and Cup; Runners-Up.

We registered ten players in the August; for a 9-a-side competition. We acquired a further, one more, player during the season but; unfortunately we'd also lost six from the previous season. From the outset, we adopted a fun, fair and disciplined approach with our coaching. We'd improved massively, from our first season as a team, ability wise - still we pushed the fitness side and; encouraged more determination and desire, with the emphasis on development - still ongoing. The lads all work extremely hard in training and overall, we believe, every player has improved - some more than others.

A blistering, undefeated start to our campaign stretched a whopping eleven matches. This was finally halted in "Game 12" when; we were beaten by an also previously unbeaten, and very strong AC Preston team; 3-0. I believe this defeat made us stronger, certainly in the subsequent encounters but; unfortunately, as it turned out, this loss effectively 'handed' them the title - although, we were still the only team to take any points off of them; in the return fixture. Having successfully made the Cup Final - we were also, so cruelly beaten, 3-2, by the same opponents; in a pulsating game, having led 2-1 with only two minutes remaining.
