The 3rd LFB 5 a side tournament

Our popular tournament returned after a years absence.

This years winners were Ginger Robbie's Spice Girls who beat the red hot favourites Ben's AFC Bambi 1-0 with the goal coming 3 seconds from the end of the final.

A total of £150 was raised for club funds so let hope Skuce Jnr spends it wisely.

Thanks to everyone who took part, the referee's Smudge & Leon and most of all to JT who organised the whole tournament as well as being a referee.

We are OK to use the Elm Park pitch for another season before work commences on it.

Darren will be signing on with us and possibly one other new player due to Jamie & Alex P leaving us.

We are looking to raise funds by training, JTs 5-a-side tournament and other social events to purchase a new kit & nets. We are also looking for someone to take on the lucrative task of sponsoring our kit (possibly AIG or Fly Emirates but maybe the Kebab van in Stoke Gifford!)

JT is in charge of sorting out match balls and making sure we always have 2 for home games.

Ade is on the case for organising friendlies in August.

Bristol Half Marathon

Second Annual LFB 6- a- side Tournament

After a hard fought and entertaining tournament the Afghani Freedom Fighters emerged victorious.

Congratulations to Marlon and his band of footballing mercenaries.
