Rose and Thistle Play out entertaining Draw

After using the full season's supply of ice packs in the previous weeks encounter, Ajax were looking forward to playing against a team with a Similar Style and mentality to their own- Bathgate Thistle
With Matthew Fairbanks missing, Ajax were dealt a further blow when key defender Scott Nicol calls off late due to a bout of the "Gary Glitters".

Ajax learn their lesson from previuos weeks and start well scoring first through a neat move involving the impressive Matheson and fisinhed by Ally Hay. Matheson, Gallacher and Mcgonigle manage to deal with everything Thistle can throw at them, while Goalkeeper McAdam's Pepe Reina Like distribution continues to put Thistles defence on edge.
A lapse in concentration allows Thistle to pull one back before half time and they go in level.

2nd Half and Ajax dominate once again, almost taking the lead through a great move involving Matheson, Watson and Ally Hay- with the latter's shot coming back off the post . Ajax are rewarded for their efforts when Ally Rocket Reid keeps a coll head to finish superbly past the visiting keeper after a fine through pass from Gallacher.

Ajax continue to defend well but are dealt a cruel blow when Thistle snatch a late equaliser after a well worked move.

2-2 A fair result after a great contest played in the correct style and manner by both teams.
