disappointed to write what i class as our 1st loss this season athough other games we have lost but this was our 1st game we really wanted to win having gained promotion
pitch was awful hardly any grass and the weather seemed to turn up at the wrong time hailstones stairrod rain in the second half all conspired against us
that taking nothing away from our opponents who dug in dug in again and matched us for courage and spirit
if you go through the halves  1st min we scored they equalised with a cross and volley emily scored carving her way through thanks to a touch on from sophie,jade made a 1 on 1 save their goalie saved or deflected wide or we missed target 6 times
2nd half  they hit crossbar and then got between jade and chloe to touch in ther second we then missed 1on1,1 on1,1on1,1on1,1on1 plus two diving saves finishing half with a great tip over from a super shot from them
extra time was similar us pressing they breaking away us pressing but no finish so down to penalties
least said missed 1st two scored 3rd they scored all four
final summary missed to many chances got through shot wide or shot at goalie
a competative game always not knowing what way it could gobut we were tired but our fitness levels were great and i'm sure we could have run some more i have to mention EMILY HART who was outstanding from start to finish her running alone was worth the admission money
we had hard luck but have been outstanding most of the season cracking effort
