ABOUT THE CLUB
 

Long Eaton GMB FC are a relatively new club in only their 5th season. The club was started by the Manager Gareth Holmes after he damaged his back and was unable to play as often as he liked.
We are sponsored by the GMB -Britain's General Trade Union, with funding coming from our Local Branch ( Long Eaton ).The club has received fantastic backing ever since we started and without the GMB Trade Union we probably wouldn't be the club we are today. Many thanks go to Branch Secretary-Mr C Press and Regional Organiser-Mr C Needham who are involved with our local branch.
The club is made up with of a number of friends and family and has attracted players from other backgrounds.
We are a relatively young team with the average age approximately 25years of age.
