| LUTON RENEGADES F.C |
The first competative league game saw the renegades take on st johns at legrave park .
A frantic start saw st johns pile on the pressure and in the first ten minuets saw resident keeper robert 'the cat' pull of a string of fine saves........
As the game went on renegades started to get into thier stride knocking the ball around and putting pressure on the st johns back 4 , but it was to no avail as st johns struck the ball into the net early on in the second half to make it 1-0..
5 minuets later renegades pulled a goal back when a brilliant timed through ball set off super sub christian to out pace the st johns defence and slot past thier floundering keeper.
this was a wake up call to renegades who then went on to find the win and they nearly got it but from a fine performance from st johns goalie.
As the game progressed st johns once again started to take control and 3 more goals came in the last 20 or so minuets to see off the challenge of renegades, which was not as bad as the score shows a few good performances were there to be seen for the manager but over all a bit more commitment in the challenges and effort in open play is needed from every one if the Luton Renegades are to finish in a respectable position in thier first season in the Barket Luton Sunday League ................................................................................
