LVFC PROMOTED & RETAIN DORSET SUNDAY JUNIOR CUP
After a couple of good results at the start of the season, LVFC found it tough going for a few months as injuries and holiday put paid to several players and results subsequently dipped.
After the Xmas break, the lads came back revitalised and managed to haul themselves back into contention for the league title, missing out narrowly to AFC HADCA but still finishing as runners-up.
We did, however, manage to retain our Dorset Sunday Junior Cup Final trophy. We did it the hard way though, winning both the Semi-Final and Final after extra-time. Marcus Amberton's last-gasp winner in the final settling what had been a closely fought contest in scorching temperatures.
