Well what a weekend in France! The lads won there division in the tournament and the parents ......well lets just say we had a superb few days. The squad travelled to Champagne just 2 hours outside Paris and took part in a very competitive tournament. They played 10 games and only got beat once.....what a record! That means out of the last 18 competitive games they have played they have lost only twice. Impressive! They played some of the best football i've ever seem a Lymm team play and prospects are very high for next season. Well done to all involved and thanks to Alain for arranging the weekend! ......Nearly forgot, they did get a lesson in football from the dads on the last morning losing 3 - 1 with superb goals from Mike, Alain and Jonny....can't win them all i suppose!

What a season; two points up until New year and rock bottom of the league to only one defeat in the last 8 games. Drawing with both County Cup finalists and beating Halebarnes in the last game of the season to ensure safety in the top flight (the first time Lymm have beat Hale at this age group). So just any ordinary season then! What a great bunch of lads and bring on next season. There will be a few changes over the summer with some players leaving and new players coming in but the squad is definately heading in the right direction.

Greg will be returning to work with the team this upcoming season. After discussions we have decided that the way forward for the team is for Mike and Greg to work together. Both offer different skills and will get the best out of each individual player. This will improve everyones fitness and football ability as a group and will push us in the right direction so that we're not just making up the numbers but we're challenging for trophies.
