Lyndhurst F.C were formed in 1885, but did not join the County ranks until 2004.
After 6 seasons at County level the Club was forced to withdraw from competitive football mid way through the 2010-11 season.
The Club reformed for the start of the 2011 campaign and were placed back into the Southampton Football League in Senior 1.
This season quickly become known as the "wilderness year" due to the standard of football, grounds, officials and League in general.
Everyones objective was to regain County status, which was acheived by rejoining the Hampshire 2004 League for the 2012-13 season.
That season saw the Club gain it's 1st County title and finish runners up in the League Cup.
