A small step in the right direction
After last seasons disasterous debut season in the newly formed Hampshire Premier League it was never going to be hard to improve !
What we have acheived this season has been quite special for this Club.
Last season we had a 1st Team and Reserve Team in name only.
The two teams were so far apart we may as well have had different names.
This time round we have not only our 1st and 2nd team sections,but also a very promising Youth Team.
All 3 sections are committed to the Club. Every player at the Club has one ambition. TO PLAY FOR THE 1ST TEAM.
This has been a successful season for this reason alone.
We have been niave in games, but we will be stronger for our mistakes.
The Club has never had such an abundence of riches to call upon. It is with great expectation that we look to the future.
10th in the League and a place in the Quarter-Finals (loosing to the eventual winners) of the Southampton Senior Cup will not be good enough for this Club over the next 4 or 5 years. Not with the amount of talented youg players we have on board at present.
