For those with a good memory, they took The Mitre in Wickham Bishops to dizzy heights as the winners of Best Pub-Food in the East of England, then going on to be voted Third Best Pub-Food in Great Britain. After four successful years in Scotland, gaining AA Rosettes and Taste of Scotland Awards for their food, they returned to Essex, to re-launch The Duke of Wellington in Hatfield Peverel.
