Marazion Legends
Maria Hicks
Founder member of Newlyn Ladies, without whose efforts women’s football in this area would not be now as it is.

Jo Liddicoat
Founder member of Newlyn Ladies, total determination and will to play. Only women to nearly die at half time (Holmans), due to strapping herself up too tight!!.

Previous Player’s Player. Has won the league with both Madron and Marazion, not a coincidence! Best goalkeeper to have played for the club.

Lorreta Semmons-Doel
Mainstay of the defence who has played for the club in two different spells. In between has played for Wycombe. Always given 100% and has become a top defender/right back. Therefore nominated by her teamates and management.

Dave Barker
Head of the “Clan Barker”. Most successful woman’s football manager? Every game was the best match he had ever seen. Now retired to ensure that there are 2 more of the clan coming through.

Carly Eagles
Integral part of the 2001 Double team. Midfield player who left for London and who has appeared for Charlton and Chelsea.

League winning Captain! Entertainment officer and one of the best passers of the ball in womens football. Respected and valued by everyone.

Sam Berryman.
Been at the heart of our defence for some years. Super organiser and leader. Always a better side with her around.
